The UN CRPD and Human Rights for deaf in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

To equip the participants with a solid and deep understanding of their rights as enshrined in the UN CRPD enabling them to do an analysis of the situation in the KSA preparing them for the forthcoming review of the KSA at the UN CRPD Committee in Geneva, to encourage them to participate with the other DPOs in KSA on issues of common interest, and the deaf people’s role in the international development and human rights agenda.


Target audience 10-12 deaf representatives from different parts of KSA with equal gender distribution. The workshop will be closed (limited number of participants)
