Mr. Farooqi received his undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Punjab, Lahore Pakistan and his board certifications as a Pharmacist from the states of New York & Maryland and a Certified Clinical Research Professional with the Society of Clinical Research Associates, USA. He received his post graduate Diploma and Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Edinburgh Business School. He had interned at New York Medical College and has worked as a Clinical Pharmacist & Director of Pharmacy Services for Mount Vernon Hospital, New York for over 14 years. His area of interest has been Oncology and Nutrition and Pharmacy Administration. Mr. Farooqi has served King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre for 11 years; 9 as the Senior Manager for Pharmacy Services developing new services and supporting pharmacy operations and 2 years as a Research Associate with the Office of Research Affairs. He also managed Sponsored Research, Intellectual Property and Copyright issues at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre.
Mr. Farooqi has been in Research Administration for the last 6 years and is currently the Director of the Research Division of the Prince Salman Center for Disability Research. His recent expertise entail: Research Ethics, Developing and Negotiating Contracts, Project Management of Disability related Projects and Programs. His current ventures are in strategic reviews of Business Models. Mr. Farooqi has made various presentations and lectures.
