Dr. Ashry graduated from Temple University School of podiatric medicine in 1992. He completed his residency at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1996 and stayed on as a clinical professor involved with diabetic research. Dr. Ashry has published over 30 articles in the medical literature and has lectured all over the United States and Internationally. In 2000, he was named as “Young Practitioner of the Year” by the Texas Podiatric medical Association. In 2006 he was listed as one of “America’s Top Podiatrists”. Dr. Ashry currently practices in Palm Beach County, Florida in private office and is affiliated with several hospitals that are among the Top 100 hospitals in the US. There he serves on Podiatry Residency Training and Professional Education Committees. He also practices at 2 major Wound Centers (JFK Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center) in Palm Beach County, Florida. He is involved in both clinical and new advances and research that relates to Wound Care. The goals of the centers are to heal wounds and prevent amputations. He is a member of the American Academy of Wound Management and Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
