Hadir R. Ashry

Head of Academic and Training Affairs Prince Salman Center for Disability Research, Riyadh Saudi Arabia

Ms. Ashry received all her education from the US and then transferred to receive her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration along with a minor in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo. She has worked in various areas to include media, editing, organization, and communication among others. Ms. Ashry had previously worked in Security Forces Hospital, Riyadh for five years as Symposia Coordinator handling all conferences, courses, and seminars and working as team leader. She was also a member of the Research Committee and Organizing Committee at Security Forces Hospital. Ms. Ashry assisted in the establishment of the McKenzie Institute Branch in Saudi Arabia for physiotherapists.

Hadir Ashry was a news anchorwoman and host of numerous programs on Channel 2 of the Saudi Arabian Television for ten years. She joined the Prince Salman Center for Disability Research (PSCDR) in 2003 and worked on various events including dissemination. In 2006, she established the department of Academic and Training Affairs at the Center. Ms. Ashry is currently the Head of Academic and Training Affairs at PSCDR is responsible for all academic activities pertaining to the Center along with being Chairman of the Organizing Committee. She has taken numerous courses which include Project Management Professional (PMP), Microsoft Project, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, among others.
