Kasper Bergmann is working as Development Projects Manager at Danish Deaf Association overseeing its portfolio of development projects primarily in Africa. He has 18 years of experiences with projects focusing on strengthening the national associations of the deaf and rights based advocacy. Recently he undertook the responsibility of World Federation of the Deaf’s Human Rights project for one year as a maternity substitute providing training on the UN CRPD, human rights, and the parallel reporting process to deaf associations in four countries (Colombia, Jordan, Ethiopia, and Serbia). Furthermore, he was involved in compiling the Danish DPO’s parallel report and was a part of the official DPO delegation to Geneva when the Kingdom of Denmark was under review before the CRPD Committee. Finally, he is a board member of the World Federation of the Deaf.
